{"id":308,"date":"2016-06-02T10:18:46","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T15:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iccprod.kinsta.cloud\/library-new\/?page_id=308"},"modified":"2017-10-16T10:47:02","modified_gmt":"2017-10-16T15:47:02","slug":"guest-user-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iccprod.kinsta.cloud\/library\/about-us\/guest-user-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Guest Users"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>Guest users must provide a valid, up-to-date photo ID.<\/h6>\n<h5>Computers<\/h5>\n<p>Guests may use computers for one hour each day (please see Campus Specific Standards for exceptions). \u00a0If a guest is unable to use the one hour allotment during his\/her sign-in, the guest forfeits the remainder of time for that day, unless asked by Library Staff to leave due to student usage.<\/p>\n<p>Guest access to computers may be restricted at the discretion of the staff based on student usage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only the individual who has signed in may use the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Groups of two or more are not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Viewing online pornography and other offensive material will result in loss of privileges.<\/li>\n<li>Guests may only listen to audio with headphones. Guests must provide their own headphones. Sound should not be audible to others.<\/li>\n<li>Unnecessary loitering or disruptive behavior may be cause for loss of privileges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Guest Cards<\/h5>\n<p>Guest cards will only be issued if a guest specifically requests the privilege to check-out material. If issuing a guest card, all information on the photo ID must be correct, and a phone number must be obtained.<\/p>\n<h5>Behavior Guidelines<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Cell phones must be used outside of the library. Be respectful to others by setting your phone on vibrate.<\/li>\n<li>Beverages must have lids. No food is allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Please be courteous to library users and staff by cleaning up after yourself.<\/li>\n<li>Individuals neglecting personal hygiene or having possessions that distract others may be asked to leave.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Food and Drink Standards<\/h5>\n<p>Coverage beverages are permitted in the Library and Academic Support Center. Food may be eaten elsewhere prior to entering the space.<\/p>\n<h4>Campus Specific Standards<\/h4>\n<h5>East Peoria and Peoria Campus:<\/h5>\n<p>Guests may use computers during normal Library hours for one hour each day. \u00a0Guests may be asked to use designated guest computers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guest users must provide a valid, up-to-date photo ID.
