One Book, One College

One Book, One College is a year-long, interdisciplinary program engaging the ICC community through the reading and discussion of a shared book.

Fostering interdisciplinary relationships through a shared reading experience.

2022-2023 One Book, One College Selection:

Think Again by Adam Grant.

The ICC Library “One Book, One College” (OBOC) Committee is happy to announce Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Don’t Know by Adam Grant as the 2022-2023 Program Selection.

This book encourages lifelong learning by:

  • Thinking like a scientist
  • Persuading by listening
  • Finding challengers, not followers
  • Embracing the joy of being wrong

How does an international debate champion win? How does a black musician persuade white supremacists to stop hating? How does Adam Grant convince Yankee fans to root for the Red Sox?  All this and more in our selection for 2022-23!

Join the ICC Library in reading Think Again by Adam Grant, the 2022-2023 “One Book, One College” selection.  The theme of our program tied to the book is “community.” This book encourages faculty, staff, and students to listen and learn from others, and consider other viewpoints.

Please contact Amy Glass, Information Services Librarian, and the chair of the One Book, One College Committee, if you have any questions.
