Spring Semester Recap
We’re right around the corner from spring semester final exams and summer break. It has been a great semester filled with many accomplishments. Here are a few memories from the 2022 spring semester at Illinois Central College.
The first thing we would like to recognize is the ICC Open House that happened in April. The first time back in-person again since 2019 before COVID-19. Over 350 people were in attendance and discovered the programs of study, meet with ICC faculty, learn about scholarships or financial aid, and starting the process for enrollment.
The next thing we would like to acknowledge is Commencement being back in-person for the first time since 2019. There will be 2,039 graduates ranging from the ages seventeen to sixty-five. 201 graduates have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher, including 55 who have a perfect 4.0 GPA. 626 have earned a transfer degree in arts, science, or engineering. 1,413 have earned an applied workforce degree or certificate. 102 graduates applied to receive more than one degree or certificate.
What a year it has been. We’re glad to be able to share these memories with students and staff here on campus. As the year comes to an end, we admire what has been accomplished and look forward to what’s in store for next semester.
