High School Students
Talk to your high school counselor about the opportunity to take dual-credit or dual-enrollment classes at your high school, online, or on one of ICC’s campuses. Each high school offers different options, and your counselor will help you select the best plan for you. You can follow the steps below to be prepared.
01Apply to ICC
Apply at Illinois Central College iccprod.kinsta.cloud/apply and completing the application. If you are a U.S. citizen, you will need your social security number. Please make sure you enter information accurately. Soon after applying, you will receive important details by email, including your ICC ID number and username. You will need this information later, so keep it in a safe place
02Determine Placement
Check with your high school counselor to see if your dual-credit class has prerequisites. Some classes require a specific ACT, SAT, or placement test score. Access your ACT or CollegeBoard account and send scores directly to ICC, or talk to your counselor about scheduling the ICC Academic Assessment. More Information on the ICC Academic Assessment.
03Setup your MyICC Account
Log in to your MyICC account my.iccprod.kinsta.cloud and your new ICC email (Gmail). This is how ICC communicates with you, and where you can access more academic and enrollment information. You already know your username (see Step 1), and everything else you need can be found on the First Time Student Technology User page
04Make Payment Arrangements
Check with your high school counselor for financial information and directions to pay course fees.
